About this vehicle
In the early 1960s, the Czechoslovakian military decided to design a medium tank that would combine sufficient firepower with a low profile. The crew was located in the hull. The fighting compartment, in turn, was in the vehicle's rear. The gun was mounted on the oscillating part of the turret and controlled remotely, while an autoloader supplied shells. The engine and transmission were in the front part of the tank to ensure extra protection for the crew. The project remained in blueprints.
